![]() Custom Prints On Artists Canvas or Textured Fine Art Paper Do you have a favorite photograph that you'd like to turn into a work of art? One option is a "print on canvas". Send me your photograph and I will scan it at high resolution, clean up any imperfections and then generate a print on artists canvas that you will treasure for many years. The cost of a "print on canvas" is dependent on the size of the final print and the time it takes to digitize and retouch the digital file scanned from your photograph. Prints on canvas can last a 100+ years with proper care and handling. Do you have a treasured photo you would love to have redone as a "painting"? I offer an alternative to traditional water color, oil, or acrylic painting. After scanning and retouching your photograph, I use an electronic process to apply "artistic washes" to enhance the appearance of your original photo and create an appearance of a water color, acrylic, or oil painting. The end result is a print on canvas that has the appearance of having been hand painted. Following is a description of the process I go through to generate this type of "painting". Your "painting" can begin with one of my photographs or your own photograph.
Each custom print begins with a conversation. Through a series of questions I come to see your vision and with this vision in mind, I begin to create your print. I begin by digitizing the photograph and the clean up process. Then I apply several artistic washes to bring your vision to life! At each step along the way I will email you samples or place them on my web site where you can view the work-in-progress and make suggestions that will help me bring your vision to life! This process goes back and forth until you are completely happy with the result. Upon final approval, I "print" the final piece and ship it to you. You have a choice of photographic paper, artists canvas, or textured fine art paper. Your print will be shipped in a cardboard shipping tube. The final print is a work of art that you'll be happy to present as a gift, display in your home, share with your friends and relatives, and enjoy for many years to come. If you'd like to discuss the possibilities, feel free to give me a call. Oscar Medina |
